WHAT ARE THE LATEST ADVANCES IN CONTACT LENSES?
NEW CONTACT LENS TECHNOLOGY REDUCES DRY EYE DISCOMFORT
Dryness is one of the major reasons 45 million contact lens wearers in the U.S. suffer discomfort from their contact lenses. But taking advantage of newer contact lens technologies can actually lead to successful, comfortable contact lens wear! Now, the newest contact lens from Bausch + Lomb® is made from a high oxygen material that is infused with ocular surface moisturizers making it one of the most comfortable contact lenses available today! Bausch + Lomb’s InfuseTM contact lens gets its name from those lubricating ingredients that are infused into the lens and released onto the eye throughout the day. These ingredients provide a continuous reduction of contact lens dehydration to keep vision clear and eyes healthy and comfortable.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES TO THE CONTACT LENS PATIENT?
Bausch + Lomb®’s InfuseTM material with infused lubricating-releasing ingredients resist moisture loss. Contact lens related discomfort from dryness is significantly reduced. Improved vision, comfort and health can be achieved from current wearers dissatisfied with their older technology contact lenses. Additionally, those patients that discontinued contact lens wear due to dryness may find this new technology allows them to successfully return to comfortable contact lens wear.

The new Multi-focal lens implants allow patients who are good candidates the opportunity to enjoy good distance and reading vision with minimal or no need for glasses following the cataract procedure.
Laser assisted surgery helps correct the astigmatism, improves the accuracy of the surgery and vision. DR. HOFFMAN NAMED "TOP DOC" AGAIN!
Congratulations to our own Dr. Scott Hoffman for being selected by his peers for the Louisville Magazine 2017 “Top Docs Award”. Dr. Hoffman also won this prestigious award in 2016.
The award is based on the results of a survey of local Louisville area doctors. To rate the physicians, Louisville Magazine arranged for questionnaires to be mailed to the 2,000-plus members of the Greater Louisville Medical Society. The survey asked: “If you or a member of your family were in need of medical care or treatment, who among the Louisville area doctors would you choose to provide medical care in the following specialties?” Specialties included the Ophthalmology category for which Dr. Hoffman was voted one of the Louisville Area’s “Top Docs”!
